Flinders who had a successfull trial at Premiership Champions Chelsea a few weeks ago has been invited down to the JJB Stadium by manager Paul Jewell and will team up with ex red Arjan De Zueew.
Reds boss Andy Ritchie told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
"Scott will go and train with Wigan until Thursday.
"It is the same arrangement as when he went down to Chelsea and Wigan will have a closer look at him this week".
