Barnsley are facing a defensive crisis ahead of Sunday's FA Cup Semi-Final with Cardiff City at Wembley after Mr Consistent Stephen Foster was ruled out with a badly bruised foot. Striker Daniel Nardiello is also set to miss out and Simon Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

"We have to real doubts for the weekend with Stephen Foster almost certain to miss out with a foot injury. He has a badly bruised foot and it is a massive concern.

"Daniel Nardiello is also struggling and he has not really trained all week. Other than that we are at full strength.

Whilst Nardiello was likely to start on the bench, the loss of Foster, who scored the equaliser at Liverpool, is a real blow. Marciano Van Homoet is likely to come in at left back with Rob Kozluk (the only Barnsley player to have appeared in an FA Cup Semi-Final before) moving to right back.
