Stephen Foster has told the Yorkshire Post ahead of his 200th appearance for the Reds that he would to extend his current contract.

The 31-year-old signed for £100,000 by Simon Davey from Burnley in 2007 has seen three different managers in his time at Oakwell and as he approaches his 200th game he spoke to the Yorkshire Post:

“I feel like I owe the club for putting faith in me and will do whatever I can to stay. I am under no illusions about my talent as a footballer,”

“I know I am not the best player around but I have managed to stay consistent over the years and that has kept me in the team even though the manager has changed a couple of times.”

The Reds travel to league leaders Southampton today looking for their first win in four games.
