Friday Night For Southend

Last updated : 08 January 2008 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

Barnsley or Southend will become the first side to make it to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup after their tie was scheduled for Friday 25th January 2008 at 7:45pm.

All other Fourth Round ties take place on Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th but Southend asked the FA to move the tie forward to the Friday as Southend host Leeds United on Monday 28th in League One. All other League One games take place on Tuesday 29th.

It will be a relief for The Reds too as there is a full Championship programme on Tuesday 29th when Colchester visit Oakwell. The U's were knocked out of the FA Cup at the weekend by Peterborough so will have a full weekend's rest.

Ticket prices for the tie at Roots Hall have also been announced and are as follows:

Tickets for the game, when purchased in advance from the Oakwell Box Office, are priced at:

Adults - £15.00
Senior Citizens (Over 60) - £10.00
Juveniles (Under 16) - £10.00
Juveniles (Under 11) - £5.00
