Barnsley took their total of January striker signings to three with the loan capture of giant Stoke City frontman George Waring.
The 20 year old stands at 6ft 5inchs and is currently in his second year at the Britannia Stadium after starting his career with Everton.
Waring arrives at Oakwell on an initial one month loan and Danny Wilson told the club’s website:
"George will give us that presence we've been lacking in the final third. He's a very tall lad and he will,hopefully, be able to link the play and help us sustain pressure on the opposition for us.
