Four goals in 31 minutes, cruising.

Goals from Daniel Bogdanovic and Adam Hammill and first goals for the club for Emil Hallfredsson and Ryan Shotton gave the Reds a 4-1 lead after Karl Duguid had given Plymouth a ninth minute lead.

But incessant rain forced the referee Gavin Ward to call the game off after 58 minutes with the Reds having scored four goals in a game for the first time since October 2008.

Mark Robins was understandably disappointed with the decision and said the decision was made for Plymouth's benefit:

"The referee made the decision to call the game off and it was unilateral. I do not think he would have made the same decision if the score was the other way around.

"We will have to come here again now. Our supporters have to come here again and we are all disappointed because we played ever so well. The players are devastated by that and we have to remember that feeling when we come back here.

"It could have been eight or nine here today.

"The decision was made unilaterally by the referee and that is the first time I have seen that. I am pleased and proud of them but we have to do it again.

"We should see if the referee will reimburse our supporters because coming here will have cost them an absolute fortune. I don't think it was that dangerous".
