Flying winger Adam Hammill has stated that he will turn down a move to the Premier League in January, because he wants to play there with the Reds!

Hammill scored his fifth goal of a fine season so far with his sublime 30-yard wonder goal against Hull City at the weekend and is said to be being tracked by Newcastle, Bolton, Blackpool and Wigan.

He told media after his star performance against the Tigers:

"I just want to continue playing well for Barnsley.

"I enjoy my football here and the fans are great with me.

"This club is ambitious. Burnley and Blackpool have shown what you can do with good players and some good team spirit - and we have got both here.

"If we can get up there to the top end of the table by Christmas, then who knows what we can achieve?"
