Hart's view on FA Cup exit

Reds manager Paul Hart spoke after another first round cup exit:

"I am very disappointed. We were abysmal in the first half but got away with it, and in the second half we rallied a bit but Northampton were deserved winners.

"Northampton played very well but we were poor. We are a young side, inconsistent and a bit up and down.

"And I'm not sure that some of the players were prepared for an FA Cup match. But credit to Northampton as they deserved it."

Tykes Mad says:
The fans deserve better. Although we have had far too many managers in recent years, unless results improve quickly Hart should have the guts to resign. He has brought in his own players but performances and results have been poor and there seems to be no signs of improvement.

Lets face it, there aren't too many proven managers out their who would want the Reds hotseat these days but we have to look elsewhere.
