Reds boss Simon Davey is set to make 6"5 German goalkeeper Heinz Muller is SEVENTH summer signing.
Muller currently plies his trade in Norway with Lillestrom and is a former German U21 international.
Barnsley have already had a £125,00 bid turned down by Lillestrom's Sporting Director, ex Red striker Jan Aage Fjortoft who said:
" We received an offer from a Championship club but it was almost laughable, far far too low. We turned it down. If we are to sell, the figure would have to be much higher."
A second offer has been lodged though for a player who is regarded as a key player by his club.
Also there is a bizarre video on Youtube, of Muller making saves whilst...blindfolded! Which can be found here http://youtube.com/watch?v=1eBK63tnQ80.
It has also been revealed today that Simon Davey is looking at FOUR more new signings before the big kick-off on Saturday 11th August against Coventry City.
Also new German full back Dominik Werling has only joined the club on loan with a view to a permanent move whilst goalkeeper David Lucas has left the club after his short term deal expired.
