Hill To Look Again At Etuhu.

Barnsley boss Keith Hill is believed to once again be in talks with former Manchester City winger-cum-striker Kelvin Etuhu.

The 23 year old who was released by the new Premier League champions after being sent to prison in March 2011 was on trial at Oakwell 12 months ago after being let out of jail after serving four months of an eight month sentence for a fracas outside a Manchester casino, but Barnsley decided not to offer him a permanent contract due to medical issues associated with the player.

Etuhu, who has played previously under Hill, when he spent a short loan spell at Rochdale in 2007, eventually signed for Portsmouth on a six-month contract in January of this year, scoring once in 13 appearances. But after Portsmouth’s relegation to League One- something that would have befallen Barnsley instead of Portsmouth if the South Coast club had not been deducted 10 points for entering administration- the former Leicester and Cardiff loanee is looking to stay in the Championship and Hill has been in touch with his representatives.
