Former Reds boss and Wales midfielder Glyn Hodges has been named as the new coach of the Wales Under-21 squad.
Hodges will be assisted by another former Reds player Clayton Blackmore, while senior boss Mark Hughes is hoping that current national team skipper Gary Speed will help out.

"Glyn is well respected and is very qualified for the role," Hughes said.
"I am also very happy for current senior skipper Gary Speed to get involved with the under-21 side's coaching.

"This is not to say that Gary has any intention of ending his international career, but he has so much experience that it would be a crime for him not to have an input into the next crop of under-21 players from the start of next season."
