Hodges reflects on Wigan game

After the Reds final game of the season, Glyn Hodges commented: "I thought we did OK, the main thing for us was the debut of Nicky Wroe, who I thought played well.''

I thought we could have got something from the game. Their goalkeeper was busy, Kevin Betsy had one well saved and then Bruce Dyer gets one on target and it's hit someone's hand. If that wasn't a penalty I don't know what is.

"I told the lads before not to expect anything from the ref, he wasn't going to give us any help.

"There were some silly decisions like foul throws but for me that was a clear penalty and he hasn't given it but I'm not complaining.''
