Hopefully Two Whites Can Stop The Wrong.

After the acquisition of Harry White from Gloucester in September another White has joined the Reds today with Aidan White arriving on loan from Rotherham.

The 24 year old plays at full back, primarily on the left and has spent most of his career in Yorkshire. He came through the Academy on the west side of the county at Leeds making his debut in 2008 and played 111 times for them until this summer. Whilst on the Elland Road books White also spent time on loan at Oldham between 2010 and 2011 and at Sheffield United in 2013-2014 before signing a permanent deal at Rotherham this June on a free transfer.

However White has struggled to break into the first team at the New York Stadium making only 10 appearances, of which only four have been starts.

White was signed by the Millers former manager Steve Evans, who departed in October and is ironically now at Leeds and he has made only one start and one substitute appearance under the stewardship of former Barnsley captain Neil Redfearn, the last of which came at the end of October.

White has signed an initial loan agreement at Oakwell until the 3^rd January 2016 and could replace George Smith who has come under fire from a section of Barnsley supporters during the club’s eight match losing run.
