Huddersfield Allocation SOLD OUT!

The Reds will be backed by a 4,000 strong travelling faithful in Saturday's relegation showdown with Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town after the club confirmed that the away allocation of tickets had sold out.

Barnsley need to win at the John Smiths Stadium to ensure Championship football next season, however a point would be enough should 21st placed Peterborough lose at Crystal Palace.

The last time the Reds visited that corner of West Yorkshire was back in 2006, where goals from Paul Hayes, Paul Reid and Daniel Nardiello saw them turn around a 1-0 first leg deficit in the League One play-off semi-finals to win 3-2 on aggregate.

Currently, six teams can still be relegated going into the final day. Blackburn are presumably safe with a much superior goal difference to the Reds, who occupy the final relegation spot.

It would seem only one relegation place is left however, after Wolves slipped to a 2-1 home defeat to Burnley at the weekend, all but relegating them due to their inferior goal difference to Posh.

Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday lie one point above the drop zone, and Huddersfield three points, but their goal difference of -20 could still play a part in what has been a remarkable season in England's second tier.
