Hugo Signs On Permanently!

Barnsley fans have been given some great news on the eve of the FA Cup Third Round tie with West Ham as it has been revealed that Argentinian midfielder Hugo Colace has signed a permanent deal with the Reds.

Hugo joined on loan from Newells Old Boys in the summer and has made 18 appearances for Barnsley in the Championship and impressed amongst fans.

Reds boss Simon Davey said:

"I am very pleased to get another player signed for the next couple of seasons. Hugo has been an extremely important player for us and has been a continually consistent performer and helped to make the midfield a more solid unit"

Hugo added:

"I am very happy to have signed a new contract today. I enjoy playing for Barnsley and look forward to achieving success with the club. Simon Davey and the staff have made my transition from Argentina much easier and I feel at home here. I am keen to continue to improve my football and give the team 100 percent."
