Reds striker Iain Hume was last night re-admitted to hospital following surgery on a fractured skull. Hume was complaining of feeling unwell at his Oldham home.

It was this morning revealed that Hume had suffered from vomiting and this was because of an infection in his head wound for which he has been placed on a course of antibiotics.

Hume is expected to leave hospital tomorrow morning (Wednesday 26th). He was planning to attend the Reds home game against Reading on December 6th but his Oakwell return may be put back after the latest scare.
