After eight months on the sidelines, Reds striker Iain Hume returned to first team action last night at Gainsborough as the Reds ran out 1-0 winners.

Hume was a 50th minute substitute for Onome Sodje and produced a save with his first touch, which was a header! Encouraging news for Reds fans. Trialists Jurgen Chedzel, David Glele and Anduele Prior all took part at the Northolme.

Kayode Odejayi continued his red hot streak in front of goal with the winner on the stroke of half time.

Meanwhile, at the Tech5 Stadium in Frickley, a second Reds side came away victorious with a 3-1 win. Goals from Martin Devaney, Daniel Bogdanovic and Jacob Butterfield completed a comfortable win. Another trialist, Deogo, took part at Frickley.
