Injury Crisis Looming

Barnsley face a massive attacking dilemma for Saturday's trip to rock bottom Swindon.

Youngster Nathan Jarman limped out of a behind closed door match on Monday with an ankle injury leaving The Reds with just Paul Hayes and Marc Richards as recognised strikers at the club.

Hayes and Richards have only scored 7 goals between them this season and both looked out of form against Rotherham last weekend.

Ritchie may now be forced to sign a striker on loan before tomorrow's deadline although he remained upbeat about Jarman when speaking to the Official Site:

" Nathan injured his ankle in the first half of Monday's match and was forced out of the game. We will have to wait and see how he is"
