International Update!

Last updated : 14 March 2007 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

One of The Reds Hungarian sensations has been rewarded for his fine Oakwell form by being called up to Peter Varhidi's squad to face Montenegro and Moldova.

Peter Rajczi who has delighted the Oakwell faithful with his pace and link-up play has been given the opportunity to add to his nine caps and 3 goals for the Hungarian national side.

Surprisingly though 5 goals in 5 starts for his compatriot Istvan Ferenczi isn't enough to see him included in the squad.

Hungary travel to Montenegro in a friendly on the 24th March - the same day the England U21s open Wembley- and then host Moldova in a Euro 2008 Qualifier 4 days later.

Hungary currently sit 2nd bottom in Group C with 1 win and 3 defeats from their first 4 games and trail leaders Turkey and Greece by 6 points.
