"I thought we acquitted ourselves well in the first half and passed the ball pretty well against a side who have won 12 on the spin at home. We did not come here for a point and I think we showed that.
"We had to dig in at times in the second half and I am pleased with everything today. Our players knew what they had to do and Ipswich just could not unlock us in the second half.
"We stood up to be counted today and I could not have asked for any more".
