Former Reds skipper Craig Ireland has cut short his loan spell with Bristol City and returned to Peterborough United after just three weeks and two matches.
City Player-manager Brian Tinnion said: "Peterborough want quite a large fee for Craig...... If the situation changes we may look at it again. Craig has been doing a lot of travelling and has a wife and a young child.
