Barnsley have today extended the loan of winger Lloyd Isgrove from Premier League outfit Southampton.

The Welshman has made 11 appearances for The Reds since arriving at Oakwell in October and despite losing each of his first four games, Barnsley have lost only two of the following seven, winning four.

Isgrove’s original loan deal was due to expire this week but now it has been extended to the maximum allowed in a 93-day agreement, meaning he will remain in South Yorkshire until the 23rd January.

As reported last week, strikers Simeon Jackson, Conor Wilkinson and Michael Smith all left Oakwell today. Jackson’s short-term contract expired with him tweeting today Thanks to everyone at @bfc_official All the best for the rest of the season” whilst Wilkinson and Smith have returned to Bolton and Swindon respectively at the end of their loans.

Meanwhile ticket arrangements for Barnsley’s Johnstones Paint Trophy Northern Final Second Leg at Fleetwood in February have been confirmed.

The Reds will travel to Highbury Stadium on Tuesday 2nd February with a 7:45pm kick off and Reds supporters have been allocated 1,341 tickets – 681 of which are standing and 660 seated.

The home leg is this Saturday with a 3pm kick-off and tickets for this are £5 when bought before the day, and £10 on the day.
