Rumours are circulating that goal-keeper Kevin Pressman has been taken by Barnsley on trial.
Reds boss Andy Ritchie is looking for experienced back-up to Nick Colgan with young Kyle Letheran not ready and Vito Mannone, who committed calamites when in goal has returned to Arsenal with a knee injury.
Pressman, who spent 19 years at Hillsborough was often barracked by Barnsley fans about his weight and striking resemblance to Danny Wilson.
Pressman was released by Mansfield in the summer has reportedly being training with The Reds today (reports that I can NOT confirm)
Im not sure personally that Pressman would be a good signing as his age is a worry and there are other areas of the team which have a far greater urgency to strengthen!
