Kick It Out announces October week of action

Last updated : 28 August 2003 By Mad Tyke
I am writing from football’s anti-racism campaign, Kick It Out, about this
year’s anti-racism week of action. The week is due to take place between
the 16 and 28 October and will involve the whole of football coming together
to make an anti-racist stance.

Last Year, all 92 professional clubs organised an event as part of the week
alongside 300 community groups, school and libraries.

For activities during the week we are also making available a small grants
scheme, for which we can include information for fans groups who may want to
make applications. Alongside T-shirts, badges, sticker, etc.

Finally, around the time of the week of action we will also distribute the
fourth issue of the fanzine “United Colours of Football”.

If you have any stories or pieces that could go into the fanzine please let us know.

Regards,

Martin Endemann
