Barnsley’s on loan full back cum winger Kieran Trippier has won a call up to the England Under 21 squad for their match with Italy on Tuesday.
The 20 year old who is loan from Manchester City is in the squad for the trip to Empoli due to a number of defensive withdrawals. Premier League defenders Chris Smalling, Micah Richards, James Tomkins, Kieran Gibbs and Kyle Naughton are all missing.
