Barnsley full-back Rob Kozluk is set to miss the New Year fixtures including the FA Cup trip to West Ham next Saturday, after fracturing his cheekbone in the 1-1 draw with Preston yesterday.
Kozluk collided with Preston's Callum Davidson in the first half at Oakwell and was substituted at half time.
Reds boss Simon Davey told
www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:"Rob has a hairline fracture of his cheekbone and will be out for up to four weeks. It will probably be a little less but it is a blow to us.
"Rob has consistently been in the starting eleven all season and to lose a player like that is always hard to take. We have to fill that void now".
It's a major blow for Kozzie who has just returned from a thigh injury.
