Brian O'Callaghan suffered a groin strain in the Reds welcome win at Luton Town on Saturday but is expected to be fit for the visit of Chesterfield to Oakwell on Sunday 28 December.
Paul Warhurst who replaced O'Callaghan is suspended for that match.
Reds skipper Peter Handyside may also be fit to face Chesterfield after recovering from an ankle injury.
