Lewin Gets Another Welsh Call

Last updated : 01 October 2007 By Alastair Limb (tykesmad)
Reds on loan centre-back Lewin Nyatanga has been called up by John Toshack for the two Wales qualifiers against Cyprus and San Marino. Wales currently stand 5th, in front of only the two opponents, with San Marino rooted to the bottom with no points and a goal difference of -42 in just nine games!

Nyatanga has appeared 14 times in the red of Wales. Other additions to the squad include the injured Craig Bellamy and there is no place for former Reds striker Danny Nardiello, shame eh?
