Macken spent two months on loan from Derby and hit a hot streak towards the end of his loan spell, scoring three goals in two games against Bristol City and Stoke. He was then re-called by parent club Derby and made two Premier League appearances.
Since Macken's departure, the Reds have failed to win a single game and the last league points picked up was the one at Scunthorpe on New Year's Day.
