Marriott off to Birmingham?

First choice Barnsley goalkeeper is having talks with an as yet unnamed Premiership club after his transfer was agreed today.

Birmingham City appear to be favourites with Steve Bruce looking for goalkeeping cover recently.

The Reds financial situation means any offer for a player who would leave on a free at the end of the season is unlikely to have been refused.

Matt Ghent is now the only keeper with first team experience at the club.
