Monk loan extended for third month

The 24-year-old has a contract with Southampton until the end of the season and is available for nothing should we want to keep him.

Monk would like to stay but since Peter Handyside's return from injury, he has been playing at right back where he hasn't looked as good as at centre back so the question is do we need him?
