Reds striker Mark Stallard will miss the trip to Sheffield Wednesday after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Grimsby.

Meanwhile, defender Garry Monk could be out of action until the final weeks of the season after suffering a serious ankle injury.

Gudjon Thordarson said: “It looks as though Garry will be out for a long time. His ankle is not broken but he has done some damage to the ligaments and is in a bad way.

“It could be six to eight weeks before we see him back in training. It is a major concern now because we are down to the bare bones”.
