Last updated : 05 November 2007 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

Reds striker Miguel Mostto has earned a call-up to the Peru squad for this month's games with Brazil and Ecuador in World Cup 2010 Qualifiers.

Peru host former World Champions Brazil on Sunday 18th November and then Ecuador, who faced England at the last World Cup, three days later.

Despite an early struggle at Oakwell, Mostto has started to settle into English football, grabbing his first goal against Burnley on 28th October and impressing in a cameo sub appearance against Preston at the weekend. The 28 year old is likely to be on the bench against Blackpool again tonight after the good displays of Istvan Ferenczi and Jon Macken against Preston.

Miguel Mostto has won 10 caps for Peru scoring 1 goal. He was named in Peru's squad for last summer's Copa America but pulled out through injury.
