Former Reds star Neil Thompson has been appointed as Leeds United's new Academy Manager.
Thompson made 32 first team appearances for the Reds, netting five goals, before joining York City in 1998.
He has previously managed York City and Boston United (with Neil Redfearn).
Meanwhile, former Reds hero Craig Hignett is still on trial at Leeds and a decision on a contract for the midfielder is imminent.
