Barnsley have finally decided on the man to replace Mark Robins as manager…. But it is being kept under wraps until an official announcement on Wednesday morning.
Rochdale’s Keith Hill andChesterfield’s John Sheridan are the main names in the frame, with Hill coming back from nowhere after ruling himself out of the job last week.
Director Don Rowing told the Star newspaper:
"We're in negotiations with a manager. Discussions are ongoing, but we're hopeful of concluding a deal very soon."
That should be in two days time with the bank holiday break delaying the announcement.
