New players and sponsors wanted by Barnsley Ladies F.C

Last updated : 10 March 2003 By Mad Tyke

Barnsley Ladies Football Club was founded in 1988. The progression of Ladies football over the last two to three years has seen the number of members in the club increase dramatically. The club currently has two teams.

The first team play in the Northern Combination League.

The Reserves play in the Yorkshire and Humberside Division One East.

Training is held on Wednesday evenings (8pm) at Barnsley FC's Academy astro turf and all home games are played at Woolley miners Welfare in Darton.

The Club is always looking to recruit new members. Any Ladies or girls from under 12 level and upwards who wish to come along to training on a Wednesday evening with a view to joining the Club are more than welcome.

The Club gets no recognition or support from Barnsley FC and is on the lookout for potential sponsors.
