Gordon told the official Barnsley FC website: "We reached another very significant milestone by agreeing a new shirt sponsor deal hopefully for the next two years. The name is under wraps for the moment but will be announced shortly.
"Furthermore I am delighted to announce that we have agreed a two year sponsorship deal with a major PLC to re-name the Pontefract Road End.
Again an announcement will be made shortly but it is all part of bringing an increasing amount of badly needed inward investment to the Club. It is still a major priority to make this Club financially self sufficient over the next two years."
