In-form Daniel Nardiello and Martin Devaney are big doubts for Saturday's crunch final home game of the season against Leicester City.

Both teams are tied on 50 points in the Championship and both need one more win to be sure of Championship football next season.

Nardiello and Devaney were both forced off in the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend which are taking time to clear.

It would be a massive blow to lose Nardiello in particular who is in the form of his career after bagging 6 goals in the last 4 games to shoot The Reds to the brink of safety.

Boss Simon Davey is willing to give the duo as long as they need however:

"Martin and Daniel have not been able to train this week so far after picking up calf problems against Crystal Palace. We will have to give them right to the last minute" He told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk.

On loan Kyel Reid is almost certain to miss the game after been ill during the week.

Although after Paul Reid and Brian Howard were supposedly ruled out of the trip to Southend a couple of weeks ago yet both played makes it hard to believe if these players are actually injured or a sneaky ploy from Davey before we play relegation rivals.

Meanwhile Hungarian International midfielder Peter Simek has finally arrived at Oakwell this week for his trial with the club. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of international pal Istvan Ferenczi in making a big impact in English football.
