Reds on loan centre back Lewin Nyatanga has been named in the Coca-Cola Championship Team of the Week after helping his team-mates to a fantastic 1-1 draw at promotion favourites Charlton Athletic.

Along with Heinz Muller, Dominik Werling, Dennis Souza and Stephen Foster, Nyatanga restricted the Addicks to a single goal before Kim Christensen popped up with an injury time his equaliser- his first goal for the club.

The Team also includes ex winger Michael McIndoe who scored in Bristol City's 2-0 win over Sheffield United.

Meanwhile Peter Taylor has become the second Championship manager sacked.

After QPR parted company with John Gregory last week, Crystal Palace have dismissed former England U21 Head Coach Taylor after Palace- tipped for the play-offs are slumped in 19th place.
