No Deals For Ramsey and Morgan

Trialists Dean Morgan and Chris Ramsey have played their one and only game in a Barnsley shirt after boss Simon Davey confirmed he would not be pursuing his interest in them. Ramsey played the full 90 minutes in the 3-0 win at Buxton last night whilst Morgan came on a half-time. Neither though did enough to impress Davey.

Maxime Chanot and David Preece are being kept on however. Chanot played the first half last night but Preece will make his debut against Ferencvaros tomorrow. Luke Steele played the full 90 minutes against Buxton.

Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

"We not be taking things any further with Dean and he has now left the Club. The same goes for Chris (Ramsey) and we will not be taking that any further either.

"We still have David Preece in training with us as well as Maxime Chanot. David will get his chance to play against Ferencvaros tomorrow".
