8th June 2007: A rumour surfaced in the Daily Mirror that the Reds were poised to sign the Peruvian.
15th June 2007: Reds announce the signing of Mostto subject to a work permit and international clearance and pictures on the Official Website showed him holding up a Barnsley shirt and scarf, with MOSTTO 8 emblazoned on the shirt.
2nd July 2007: Reds fans were delighted as it was announced that Mostto had been given his work permit.
13th July 2007: Still no Miguel. Davey remains calm and insists Mostto's delay in not causing concern and a bit of Peruvian red tape needs to be sorted out.
22nd July 2007: Davey announces to the website that Mostto has arrived at the Reds camp in Portugal and will train with them this evening.
Been eventful. Lets hope he's been worth the wait, and the fee!
