Barnsley will choose from the same 16 that were involved in the defeat to Cardiff. Rob Edwards and Scott Golbourne have not recovered from the injuries that they suffered over the Easter weekend. There is some good news with club captain Bobby Hassell back in training but the 31 year old has not appeared since the end of January and will not be risked until the final game against Brighton. David Button has extended his loan with the club until after that game so will continue in goal.

Interesting Stats:
Hull have won just two of their last 14 matches, a run which includes five successive draws and five successive defeats. It has dropped the Tigers from sixth in the Championship to 10th, six points off the play-offs, with just nine left to play for.
Hull have won just one of their last six home matches- their most recent one, a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough.
The toothless Tigers have failed to score in five of their last eight outings and have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven.
Nick Barmby’s side have gone seven matches without a clean sheet, remarkable when you consider they kept nine in the 12 matches previous.
Hull have though conceded just 40 goals in their 43 league matches- only league leaders Reading (37) have conceded less.
They have though scored just 41- only 21st place Bristol City (40) and rock bottom Doncaster (39) have scored less.
Hull are in exactly the same position (10th) as they were at this stage of last season, and have one point less. They failed to win any of their final three matches of that campaign and finished 11th.
Barnsley’s 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff was their 11th defeat in 15 matches, and their seventh in nine. It was also the eighth time they had failed to score in their last 11 outings.
That home reverse was the 10th time they have suffered defeat at Oakwell this season- the most since their first season back in the Championship in 2006-2007. They have also conceded 37 goals in front of their own supporters. Nobody has conceded as many home goals.
The Reds have failed to win any of their last eight matches on the road, losing seven of them and failing to score in six.
Barnsley have lost 12 of their 21 away matches this season- only the bottom three sides have lost more.
They have scored just 17 times on the road this season- only Brighton (16) and Coventry (13) have scored less.
Barnsley are four points and two places worse off than at this stage last season, and have the same amount of points as they did after 43 matches of the 2008-2009 campaign when they had to beat Plymouth on the final day to stay up.
The Reds have lost their two most recent trips to the KC Stadium but do boast a decent record of 15 wins in 48 matches at Hull, including eight of the last 12.
Between 1979 and 1990, The Reds made eight trips to Hull’s then Boothferry Park home, and won seven of them, drawing the other.
Barnsley are six goals shy of 150 against Hull, but the Tigers need four more to reach 100 in home games against Barnsley.
The first goal scored tomorrow by either side will be the 300th between the sides in league meetings.
