"It was a massive result for us. We have had chances in our last few games but today we put them away when it counted. To be fair in the first half I thought it was going to be more of the same especially when Chris Shuker hit the post.
"We changed things around at half time and to be fair the lads did well to adapt. We wanted to outnumber them in midfield and it worked a treat for us right at the start of the second half.
"Everybody has played his part this afternoon and it was a hard decision to leave some of the lads off the bench. We wanted a more defensive bench and I think that worked for us today.
"It was a win we needed and to be fair we are all very, very pleased".
