Official Statement from the club website

THE Administrators of Barnsley Football Club, after consultation with Club Directors, announce that they have today dismissed Mr. Steve Parkin from his position as Team Manager.
Also dismissed from their positions with the Club are Assistant Manager Mr. Tony Ford and Chief Scout Mr. Russell Richardson.
The action which has been taken today is believed to be in the best interests of the Club.
The Club wishes Steve, Tony and Russell every possible success in the future.
Mr. Glyn Hodges, the Club’s reserve team coach, will have responsibility for playing matters at the Club with immediate effect.

What do you think about this decision. Is it pointless to sack the manager while the club are in administration and cannot sign a replacement from outside the club. Was Parkin given enough time? Put your views on the messageboard now.
