Parkin and Ford get nothing

Former Reds manager Steve Parkin and his assistant Tony Ford will not get their contracts paid up by the club as promised after the Doyle deal was accepted by a large majority of Shareholders and Creditors.

Tony Ford said: "I never wanted to see the club go out of business but it seems wrong that they are just allowed to continue and all debts to former employees are just wiped away.

"You sign a contract in good faith and you expect it to be honoured. A club should have to honour its debts – whether the company changes its name or not."
