Paul Hart's view after Hartlepool draw

The Reds manager said: "I felt that we did enough to win the game but losing a player definitely gave them an advantage. If the player had stayed on then I felt we would have won the game. We played well and some of our football at times was excellent.

"In the context of the game I think Tony Vaughan should have stayed on. Bobby Hassell almost had his leg broken in the first half from a far worse tackle but their lad stayed on the pitch.

"I felt that we dealt with things well and always looked capable on the break. The improvement we showed today was encouraging. It should give us a platform to move forward".
