Barnsley's away match with Portsmouth will be pushed back to 5.20pm on Saturday 15th October 2011 for Sky coverage.
The Reds only had ONE televised game in the whole of last season, the 1-1 draw at home to Yorkshire rivals Hull City, ironically on the same weekend as the Portsmouth game.
Meanwhile, the Reds scheduled pre season friendly with Feyenoord has been cancelled on recommendation of South Yorkshire Police.
The game, scheduled for Saturday 23rd July has been called off because of "the high likelihood of large-scale disorder and grave consequences, not only to the Club but also to the town centre of Barnsley is considered to to be a threat to public safety".
