Leicester manager Micky Adams didn't put much store in the result saying:
"Barnsley deserved the win. For the first hour or so, we did well but then we faded a bit.

"We looked a bit leg-weary after the trip to Estonia and Finland but I expected that at this stage in our preparations.
"The squad was a bit threadbare so we had to throw in a few kids. Having said that, it was good experience for them.
"At this stage, it is all about hard work and that is what we have been doing. The other parts of the build-up will come in due course."
