The Reds have secured the loan signing of Hungarian hitman Peter Rajczi from Ujpest Dozsa until the end of the season.

The 25 year old striker has signed a 'substantial loan deal' with the Reds and if he impresses he could earn himself a permanent deal.

He has a more than impressive goalscoring record with his current club, scoring 46 goals in 83 games including 23 in 24 last season. He has also scored 3 times in 9 international appearances and came on as a substitute against England last May.

Rajczi will wear the number 13 shirt at Oakwell, unlucky for some?

In my opinion, he's got to be better than what we have already. Hoepfully the paperwork will be completed in time for him to make his debut in front of the whole world, live on SKY at Cardiff City on Friday

Meanwhile today's Daily Mirror has linked The Reds with another prolific foreign striker.

Dordrecht's Cecilio Lopes is involved in a three way fight with Cardiff and Derby for his services with the first club to bid £200,000 likely to get him.
