Barnsley have accepted a transfer offer for full-back Scott Wiseman from Championship rivals Blackpool.
27-year-old Wiseman followed ex-boss Keith Hill to Oakwell from Rochdale in summer 2010 and has gone on to make 62 league appearances for the Reds, with his only goal coming in last seasons 3-2 win over Derby.
Wiseman has come in for some serious stick this season after making numerous mistakes, including two in the 3-1 defeat at home to Blackburn on December 29, which cost Hill his job.
BBC reporter Paul Walker broke the news on Twitter, along with the news that leading scorer Craig Davies will finalise his move to Bolton Wanderers tomorrow.
